Tour of The Woods !

An exciting fundraiser has been planned to benefit the VCFS Mid-Atlantic Support Group. The 4th Annual “Tour to the Woods” will be held on the morning of Saturday, May 20 in beautiful Howard County, MD. The Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks will sponsor this bike tour in conjunction with their very successful “Wine in the Woods” festival. It is a guaranteed great time for all who participate. The VCFS Mid-Atlantic Support Group will receive $10 from each registrant plus additional pledges. This effort will benefit the 6th Annual VCFS Educational Foundation Conference, and continued research of VCFS, and is a wonderful opportunity to raise pubic awareness of VCFS.

Volunteers are needed to help promote the event and spread the word about the worthwhile cause it supports. At least twenty volunteers are also needed to help on the day of the event (Saturday, May 20 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.). Volunteers are also needed to help in the planning of Tour of the Woods. Please contact Laura Dvornicky by phone at (410) 740-3283 or by e-mail at [email protected] If you would like to participate in the event, please contact Terri Paddy, of Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks, at (410) 313-4705.
