    Greetings and farewells from Dr. Kushner and Dr. Shprintzen; summary of the 9th Annual Meeting in San Diego, *great* article on support groups by Maureen Anderson, and information on the new structure of The Educational Foundation.

    Preliminary info on the 2003 Conference in San Diego , VCFS success story, 3rd in the 3-part series on speech problems entitled “Language Impairments and School Success”, an article entitled “How Does Brain Anatomy Affect Learning in Children with VCFS”, by Wendy Kates, Ph.D.; “VCFS Meetings Around the World”, and more. . .

  • Includes information on 2002 annual conference in Northampton ENGLAND. Also contains a VCFS Mother’s Story on dealing with VCFS, and a companion story by her son, a college student, discussing his perspective in dealing with VCFS.  Also a very informative article on addressing speech and languages problems for VCFS children ages 3 through 6.

  • May 2001- Features two articles on child advocacy and educatioin, and the first of a 3-part series discussing addressing speech language problems in VCFS children.

  • December 2000 – , includes information regarding the 2001 VCFSEF Annual Conference in Deerfield Beach, Fl, and an article on the purpose and mission of the Educational Foundation.

  • April 2000 Newsletter, includes information regarding the Year 2000 VCFSEF Conference in Baltimore, Maryland including a “Call for Abstracts” form. Also contains a summary of the 1999 meeting in Milwaukee. Start of a “frequently asked questions” column, and a list of the new (and returning) council members  (Note: To enhance loading speed, this web version does not incorporate the photos included in the hardcopy version.)

  • November 1999 Newsletter Posted 11/3/99, includes information regarding the Year 2000 VCFSEF Conference in Baltimore, Maryland including a “Call for Abstracts” form. Also contains a summary of the 1999 meeting in Milwaukee. Also contains an announcement for the 5th Annual Conference in Milwaukee for 1999 (including a call for abstracts), membership/dues forms, order forms for the tape set from the 1998 Boston conference; minutes from the June meeting, and various other announcements.
